Native Mix 1

This mix creates a beautiful medium to tall grass prairie. These native grasses are deeply rooted, low maintenance and hardy. This mix does best in full sun and drier soils. During the fall and winter, these grasses will be a mix of red, gold, and purple.

Ingredients: Big Bluestem, Indiangrass, Little Bluestem, Sideoats Grama, Western Wheatgrass, Switchgrass, Native Mix 1 Plus includes our Midwest wildflower mix
Planting Dates: Late spring to early summer. Dormant seeding after November 1.
Seeding Depth: Drilled at 1/4″-1/2″
Package Size: 1 Acre and 1/2 Acre bags
Uses: Rangeland pastures, wildlife habitat, erosion control, ornamental and ecological projects.

Native Mix 2

This is a mixture of low to medium height warm-season prairie grasses. They can adapt to a wide range of soil types and climates but prefer full sun and drier areas. During the fall and winter, they turn red and golden brown.

Ingredients: Little Bluestem, Sideoats Grama, Blue Grama, Buffalograss, Native Mix 2 Plus includes our Knee-Hi Wildflower Mix
Planting Dates: Late spring to early summer. Dormant seeding after November 1.
