At Anderson Seed we can supply you with any wheat commonly grown in the U.S. Great Plains. As we are a member of the AgriPro, AGSECO, and Nebraska Certified Seed associations we have ready access to most varieties.
Since we have raised the following varieties, we have the best prices on the following: Armour, Hitch, Art, and Husker Genetics Overland. All of these varieties have been proven to grow the best in Southeastern Nebraska. |

AgriPro/Syngenta Art
Art is a proven yield leader. It has shown outstanding yields in central and eastern Kansas, across southern Nebraska and central South Dakota. It combines good leaf disease tolerance with a combination of traits including: Improved tolerance to scab; Hessian fly resistance; Tolerance to low pH soils; Medium-early maturity |

AGSECO Armour
Armour is a hard red winter wheat variety WestBred licensed to AGSECO in 2008. Armour is broadly adapted to the central Great Plains and features early maturity and excellent yield potential. This variety offers exceptional straw strength, very good leaf rust resistance, and excellent tolerance to low pH soil conditions. Armour is an "Impact" variety and should grow in popularity to dominate acres planted in eastern Colorado, all of Kansas, all of Nebraska and the northern 1/2 of Oklahoma. |

AGSECO Hitch
Hitch is a hard red winter variety WestBred licensed to AGSECO in 2008. Hitch features medium-short plant height, excellent straw strength, and terrific yield potential. This variety offers very good levels of resistance to leaf rust, stripe rust, and stem rust. Hitch is medium-late in maturity and holds winter dormancy very well, making it an excellent variety selection for northeast Colorado, all of Nebraska, and the northern 1/2 of Kansas. While its performance in southern Kansas has been fantastic, we expect that its maturity will limit the adoption of Hitch in this region. |

Husker Genetics Overland
Husker Genetics Overland is a hard red winter wheat that has adapted to the Northern Great Plains. It is a medium height semi-dwarf variety that has very good winter hardiness and straw strength as well as excellent dryland performance. |
