Our price of $68.00 per gallon is nearly $7.00 below the retail price at Beatrice farm stores. Crossbow provides great control of Locust trees, Plum bushes, weeds including henbit and clover. ALFALFA SEEDING TIME IS HERE
We have pre inoculated VNS (common) alfalfa seed. This is quality seed produced in Canada. Our price is $2.40 per pound. We also have several other varieties of premium alfalfa including Shuttle Two alfalfa from Phillips Seed.
Now is also the time to plant turf grasses, brome, orchard and other cool season grasses. Our extremely popular "Country Estates" is priced at an all time low price. Take advantage of the market and buy your lawn grass now. We also carry a full line of commercial quality lawn fertilizers. Fall is the important time to fertilize lawns!

WHEAT SEED FOR 2009-2010
2009 Wheat yields were tremendous and of good quality. Sixty to eighty bushel yields were fairly common. There are several new and higher yielding varieties available this fall in additional to the proven varieties. Enclosed is a spread sheet comparing the top varieties you would like. The varieties we recommend are:
