Dave's Winter 2011 Update

Happy Holidays from Dave and the gang at Anderson Seed, Odell Nebraska. We are proud to represent two fine family seed companies in addition to our own. Phillips Seed Co.(previously Midland-Phillips and part of the old Midland group) is the largest certified wheat seed marketer in Kansas and has expanded rapidly in corn and soybean seed sales in Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, and Oklahoma. Stine Seed Co. has the largest soybean genetic program in the world and is rapidly growing as an independent retail presence in corn and soybean seed sales to farmers.

Anderson Seed offers an 8% early pay through December until January 3, 2012 on both Phillips and Stine corn and soybeans. This is a great return in a "low interest" environment.

Anderson Seed also represents Syngenta by featuring CruiserMaxx Plus soybean treatment. We are a certified "Syngenta Seed Treatment Center". We also recommend Optimize 400 inoculants with LCO growth promoters. We also like BioForge ST for a reasonable cost root growth promoter.

Anderson Seed continues to represent Helena Chemical Co., one of the largest foliar feed and micro nutrient fertilizer companies. Speak to us about CORON, slow release foliar nitrogen plus boron, or about various micro nutrient packages, some plus manganese to address RoundUp use issues. We have very competitive prices if you have your own sprayer.

2012 recommended corn hybrids are Phillips PSF111VT3, PSF141VT3, 709VT3, 789AG,784RR,709RR and Stine 9806VT3PRO, 9808VT3PRO, 9732VT3PRO, AND 9734VT3PRO.

2012 recommended soybean varieties are Phillips 354RS, 369NRS, 381NRR,321NR2Y, 365NR2Y, 387NR2Y and Stine 3522-4, 3923-4, 30RA02,35RA02, 37RC82, and 39RA20.
